Castello di Montecchio Vesponi

Le château de Montecchio Vesponi a été construit vers le IXe siècle et faisait partie du fief des Marchiones. La forteresse est située au sommet de la colline surplombant le Val di Chiana. La structure est constituée de murs puissants entrecoupés de huit tours et d'une tour principale agile d'une trentaine de mètres. Les murs présentent des signes indiquant les maisons utilisées par les paysans et à l'intérieur du donjon se trouve une résidence privée.
